Johnston Press reports digital revenues up as debt falls

Johnston Press continues its recovery under Chief Executive Ashley Highfield with the publication today of its Interim Results which show the company’s first like for like profit in seven years.

Advertising still proves challenging for the publisher of The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and Edinburgh Evening News, but the company issued a statement of intent when it says adapting the business model will ensure digital growth will offset any future declines.
