Evening Telegraph asks readers to shape coverage of Dundee

The Evening Telegraph is looking to recruit “an army of readers” to help shape the future content of the paper.

In an editorial which has been featured in print and online, it states Team Tele will be “our eyes and ears in the community – playing a key role in the stories we cover.”

It cites Former Dundee Lord Provost John Letford and ex footballer Lee Wilkie as part of the new mix, urging other potential contributors to sign up by May 31.

The paper makes no detail of any payments on offer, but states: “those who come up with the best ideas will even land themselves a prize or two.”

The initiative is being headed by Team Tele editor Katy Gordon.

Publishers DC Thomson today also started publishing a new fortnightly pull out – The Dundonian – featuring archived photo images.
