IF I were ever to switch codes from journalism to public relations, I always thought it would be for politics, charity or Laurna O'Donnell.
So it was good to read a hugely enjoyable interview with her in Friday's edition of Business 7 with Greig Cameron, one of Scotland's best journalists.
As MD of Beattie Communications she has helped steer it towards an ambitious £6m target with eyes on New York, digital delivery and more.
This week also saw news of another shrewd signing – Charles McGhee – joining Beattie to head up their public sector team.
All while founder Gordon Beattie busies himself with extending their international reach from far flung places.
I smell a push from one of Scotland's best known PR agencies.
And that can only be good news for the industry here, and a clarion call for others to follow suit.
