BP bosses face prosecution over two safety scares at their chemical
factory in Grangemouth last summer.
The Health and Safety Executive has reported Amoco Grangemouth Complex
to the Procurator Fiscal in Falkirk.
They have highlighted a pipe rupturing on June 7 and a fire at the
refinery’s Catalytic Cracker Unit three days later, as cause for prime
concern.
The HSE announced last night that the results of any legal action will
be made public as soon as they are known.
