FORMER ER babe Julianna Margulies says she has “no regrets” about
turning down £27million to stay on as fiery nurse Carol Hathaway.
Margulies, 33, says the script writers are relying on a formula to keep
the hit hospital drama high in the ratings.
But she says that leaves little creativity for those playing the parts
of the characters.
She said: “By last year, there were 13 series regulars – too many ins
and outs. They didn’t know what to do with all of us.
“Also, bombs don’t go off in emergency rooms – it’s where you go to get
help when you’ve been in an explosion. But in ER the department was
exploding every two minutes.”
